Does
everybody have a Cultural Identity? Well, my personal answer is no. We can be
in this world without roots and be citizens of any part without specific origin
or when you really don’t know where place you are, but at the same time this is
a little sad, when you have a cultural identity and you are proud of that, just
enjoy it and be free to show it. Have a cultural identity is like you are in an
exclusive club and that is cool, does not? For me be a Latin girl, who speak
Spanish, who enjoy the arepas and Colombian Tamales (traditional Colombian
food) and we love our Juan Valdez coffee with our Conchita his mule, it is the
best feeling you can have in the world and more when you know somebody in the
street of any place in the world and he/she says, I am from Colombia, I am
paisa too (person who is from Medellin-Colombia). So doesn’t matter if you are
Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic, white, Asian, African American continue with your
traditions, don’t be afraid, and just have a open mind of other heritages that
is nice to know and have friends from all around the world.
